Yom Kippur

How many gentiles does it take to screw in a knowledge lightbulb on the most reflective and solemn fasts in Judaism? Two, apparently. Are we schmucks? Yes. Do we seek to know more about a noble religious experience we have not been directly exposed to (yet)? Also yes.

Kendall did his homework and sparks a dialogue on Yom Kippur. We learn what it is, the philosophy behind it and how it compares to the Christian religions we're familiar with.

Drink of the episode: The Mazel Tov!

  • 3 ounces Manischewitz
  • 1 and 1/2 ounces Gin
  • twist of lime

Combine wine and gin in an old-fashioned glass with ice cubes and stir well. Garnish with lime twist and serve.
